552/3 Scherzo for Violin [and piano?]
Allegretto con moto
 D [ca 1938?]
M Ink draft seemingly complete in 55m, plus repeats and D. C., on page
stamped "3" of 1-5, verso of no. 552/2. The D.C. is followed on the
page by a 16m rest, so one assumes the presence of a piano or other
accompanying instrument. It may be that in these pieces for the
violinist Raul Pereira, HC expected to be the accompanist and did
not bother to write out his part.
552/4 [Untitled piece for violin or violin and piano]
Larghetto ma agitato - Piu mosso
 D [ca 1938?]
M Ink draft, incomplete on pages stamped "4" and "5." A probable slow
movement ends on p4 and is followed on p4-5 by what appears to
be the beginning of a finale. Measures of rest indicate an accompa-
nying part, probably piano.
