78a The Cauldron [for piano]
Allegro moderate maestoso
D "For Miss Kober" in caption, followed by "1918?" in HC's hand at
alater date. This is presumed to be a later and more sophisticated

M Ink fair copy complete on 12p, with 2 staves for right hand and 2

8la [Sprites' Dance arranged for string quintet]
 D Nov 1914 or later
I 2 vn, va, vc, db
M Pencil sketch of 6m on verso of no. 129. At bottom HC wrote "con-
tinued on My Auntie," but the continuation is not on either copy at
LC of no. 157.
82 [Christmas-thoughts pieces 1913 for piano]
D Dec 1913 (CD 57). Short pieces, some no more than titles, in
Christmas-greeting spirit to fellow-pupils and participants in Mrs. Car-
