choreographed her dance, but HC used her choreographic oudine of
the sections. Jul 1950 date suggested by GL.
 T Dance inspired by William B. Yeats's play of the same tide, from its
line "You must be won at a full moon in March." Lament text from
the play (London: Macmillan and Co., 1935), pl7.
 I HC specifies that if a low male voice is not available to sing the La-
ment, the vocal part may be played instead on hom, cello, or trom-
bone ad lib.
