 M Bibliographically, HC's 1920 Christmas greeting is as complicated as
the message is no doubt sincere. In CD he cited and numbered them
separately, as above, but with brackets saying "Same Piece; V2 page."
They are not at all the same piece: CD 246 is 16m of 3-part counter-
point, 2 parts on the treble staff in common time; CD 247 has the
top part complete in 12m and the lower in 17m, completely different
music from CD 246. Both consist of reproductions of HC's holographs
by the old purple "ditto" process.
