(2) The Start Waltz. Heavy Waltz Time. Pencil sketches for pi and
p2 are followed by 4p of pencil outlines and annotations
(3) The Start Waltz. Heavy Waltz Time. Pencil and ink draft ap-
parently complete with coda and double bar on 5p
(4) Miscellaneous pencil and ink sketches on 6p of varying size
(5) For a Dancer. Heavy Waltz Time. "Piano solo or duet," in-
complete on 4p of different sizes. Probably the earliest draft of
the waltz.
 C Cited on HC's "Record of Activities" as a "10-minute work for wind
quintet & piano duet." No score or parts for such a group have been
found.

posers who were asked to contribute arrangements based on Kurt

Hispanic Society, 1941). HC's setting was of Melody 79 in that col-
